High up over the Mississippi river in the middle of the day they listened to Stratas singing Weill. And then a couple of Margaret O’Hara songs trickled into the room from somewhere before the torrential rain came and hid the city and the mighty river. Here, this and that moment, their modes and moods, never stop beckoning. And out there their hearts will never stop.
